Nine hole golf course at the DK.

Just to let you all know that a sign has appeared at the DK site where it is proposed to construct a nine hole golf course. We believe that this is going to be situated to the right hand side of our flight line in the field next to where the rugby club have some extra pitches.  A planning application has been approved here:- https://services.sstaffs.gov.uk/PublicAccess/propdb/property/property_detailview.aspx?module=P3&pkeyval=001111OXBU000&dccaseno=JFD6Q9OXK6000&dcrefval=07/00356/COU

IMPORTANT NOTICE

2.4GHZ Transmitters

Members with 2.4GHZ radios must be made aware that they make sure that any radio gear that they use to control flying machines is certified and bought from a reputable supplier for use in this country . Insurance could be cancelled if found that radio equipment being used is not to the standard set by law.

With the relaxing of importing restrictions, it is reported that some flying members across the country are importing / buying radio equipment that is not certified or not allowed to be used in this country. Some radio gear from USA uses higher output signals up to 200milliwatts. For this country, is it limited by law to 100milliwatts. Some types of radio gear are switch able from inside the transmitter between the two ranges which again if set to the high signal strength is against the law.
