( Junior membership is defined as under 18 year old or (who is in full time education and under the age of 21)).
All new members are considered to be on probation for the first 12 months of their membership, after which time full membership is granted. New members can be advised on acquiring their first aircraft and flight training can be provided on flying their aircraft at no other cost. A new member can be allowed to join the club mid way through the year and subscription is outlined above for this. A new member can organise their own BMFA insurance but must be prepared to produce insurance documents at any time when asked to do so.
The club has a limited capacity for membership and runs from 1st Nov. to 31st Oct. The club holds an annual meeting (AGM) held, the first Thursday in November and entry is restricted to fully paid up members only.
